The Centre of Resource Excellence (CoRE) Learning Foundation is thrilled to announce our partnership with CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, as a Garnet Sponsor for 2023.

Gamifying Earth Science Learning initiative


Building on this impactful partnership with CSIRO, CoRE's Gamifying Earth Science Learning initiative shows our commitment to reshaping STEM education. This innovative program leverages technology, interactivity, and gamification to transform the learning experience for students. By integrating elements of play and exploration, we aim to make Earth science concepts more engaging and accessible.


The initiative incorporates a range of interactive games, virtual simulations, and immersive experiences that align with the Australian Science Curriculum. Students embark on exciting virtual journeys, delving into geological formations, exploring ecosystems, and understanding natural phenomena in a fun new environment. This approach not only sparks curiosity but also enhances retention and understanding of complex scientific concepts.


Our collaboration with CSIRO will help us propel this initiative forward, allowing us to expand our digital resources and deliver cutting-edge educational content. CoRE Learning Model


At the heart of CoRE's educational philosophy lies our distinctive CoRE Learning Model, a dynamic framework designed to cultivate essential STEM skills and foster a deep appreciation for real-world applications. We can provide professional development to teachers for delivery of the CoRE Learning Model effectively to students ultimately empowering teachers to inspire students through STEM learning

Through partnerships with leading organisations and exposure to real-world scenarios, students gain valuable insights into the complexities of the resource industry.
